      • Take a deep breath. Slowly exhale it out. Remember to squeeze your stomach in to seal of the breath cycle and hold for a moment. As you release fresh oxygen will enter your cells. Purifying your being. ☺️ #breathe #presentmoment #selfcare
      • Powerful message and so freeing when we reach this level of consciousness. Life really becomes enjoyable. #selfcare #peaceofmind #flow #allowing
      • This one has me a little speechless. A gentle reminder to myself and to anyone else this speaks to. We can be so hard on ourselves when we are unpacking trauma and unprocessed emotions.

I know my own anger frightens and disappoints me at times. I want to be kinder, less judgmental, more righteous all of that.

The truth is healing sometimes brings up anger for me. Sometimes I’m more judgmental then I’d like to be, sometimes I’m impatient with the process.

And then I get a message like this. A message that reminds me to be kind and gentle with myself. Because the truth also is that I’m always doing my best. #selfcare #compassion #love #kindness #patience #selfacceptance
      • Happy New Day ☀️ Wow the internet is getting really deep into this mental health process and I’m here for it! We’ve reached an age where our awareness of Mental health and the importance of checking in with ourselves on that level is at the highest point.

No one could have told me that I was avoiding self care because of how painful the process can be on the psyche. When you explore and implement new habits you challenge your beliefs and beliefs are not challenged lightly.

Our patterns of thought shape our identity and often how we see ourselves and the world. When we begin to break down those patterns and challenge what we believe all hell can break loose.

The process can cause us to be overwhelmed emotionally and physically. We can also get caught up into freeze mode where we even consider staying in cycles we’ve outgrown.

We must be brave. We must allow ourselves to grow. We must keep going. We must stay the course and go beyond what we know into the uncharted depth of this experience by any means honorable and necessary if you’re ready to transform a way will be made.

The right people will be sent. The answers will come. The opportunities will present themselves and you will find strength to push through any doubt, fear, or unhealthy pattern. All you have to do (which may or may not be the hardest part of your journey) is keep showing up for you. Do your part with whatever strength you are able to employ now.

Seek out help. Go to that therapist. Speak your mind. Have that difficult conversation.

Just start right where you are. With the questions, concerns, fears, challenges, obstacles, and awareness you have now. Keep taking steps. If you fall, fail, miss the mark a little or a lot - get back up and go at it again.

Surround yourself with support and trust the process. Don’t worry about how long it will take or if you’re doing it right. Just commit to always doing your personal best. And allow life to lead you. You’re worth every minute of the journey toward embodying your true worth.

      • I felt this in my soul. How many people are you allowing to disrupt your peace trying to help them find theirs? It’s a beautiful idea - however it’s not your responsibility. You can try for the sake of being a kind human being- but the moment the mission robs you of your joy it’s time to abort the mission and redirect your energy back to self-care. #selfcare #peace #joy #happiness #responsibility
      • @trentshelton said it best. Self-Care Mastery requires setting boundaries. Saying no is a boundary that chooses you and your well being over someone’s desire to take advantage.

It’s hurtful when people take advantage - especially when you know you’d do anything to help them. Some people are used to abuse and they will try to pass that energy onto you. Treating you like they’ve been treated.

When you recognize it - set a boundary - say no and see how they respond. They’re response will tell you everything you need to know.

If they start behaving different giving the cold shoulder etc. they realize they can’t take your kindness for weakness which means they can’t manipulate you and now they’re not gonna like you. Because they are the type of people that have lived in emotional and sometimes physical survival mode so long they only use people as pawns. To protect their own crown. Be aware so you can keep your peace and joy. You deserve it. #boundaries #noisacompletesentence #selfcare #beyondsurvival
